01 / The Narrative
Red Ruby's reimagined the classic sex shop as one of Gemfest's micro-venues. Bold, playful and impossible to ignore, the façade teased what was happening beyond the front door, turning a familiar high street frontage into an invitation to step inside.
02 / The Build
The venue was designed to feel loud from the outset. Neon signage, illuminated display windows and oversized branding drew inspiration from vintage adult stores, while playful details kept it firmly rooted in festival culture rather than realism. The shopfront became part of the experience, encouraging curiosity long before guests crossed the threshold.
03 / The Experience
Behind the façade, Red Ruby's transformed into a house music micro-venue that embraced the same confidence as its exterior. Equal parts tongue-in-cheek and immersive, it became a space that people were naturally drawn towards—whether they were stopping for a photo, laughing at the details, or heading inside for the music.
